Khatron Ke Khiladi Season 5 Episode 9 Summary
Rohit Shetty started the episode by mentioning about a suspense to be unveiled. He introduced two new players in the game show as wild card entries - Ajaz and Deana and then next shot opened in the first stunt scene of the episode in Senator House. Rohit Shetty started asking all the contestants about their experience so far and how much they believe that they are still in the show. Salman mentioned that he was confident enough about him being in the show for a longer span.
Rohit Shetty announced that Gurmeet the winner of Idea life jacket in last episode will not be doing any stunts this week, but he was supposed to do a teaser stunt only for Rohit Shetty
This week all the stunts were supposed be in pairs but not together, the pair will perform the stunts to beat each other.
Stunt #1 "Rassi to Fassi": Rohit Shetty called Karanveer & Teejay to perform the stunt along with Ajaz Khan & Deana Uppal. The competition of stunt happened between Ajaz+Karanveer and Teejay+Deana in that order. Stunt started at 10th floor of a building. There was a rope tied on the edge of that building connecting another end at the 10th floor of an adjacent building. The two competitors would start from 1 edge each and crawl over the rope towards center point of the two buildings, where a flag was hung. Whosoever picks the flag will win this specific stunt and another one will go to elimination stunt.
Between Ajaz and Karanveer, lots of pushing and hurting happened to get the flag, but at the end the flag was picked by Karanveer.
Between Teejay and Deana, Teejay was the winner.
About pushing and hurting happened between Ajaz and Karnaveer, Rohit Shetty warned all the contestants that if he sees any of it again between anyone they would get the tickets to Mumbai.
Salmaan & Gauahar got low blood pressure & heat stroke due to hot weather and taken for medical attention for a while.
Stunt #2 "Udaan": Location of this stunt was a building roof of Harrington Square. Geeta + Debina and Daya + Nikitin were chosen to do this stunt. It started with a huge platform where both the competitors will stand tied with a harness. They had to pull boxes towards themselves through a rope, then open the box, it was full of maggots along with a key hidden inside the box. Contestant has to take that key and unlock another box with another key. That another key was to be inserted in the key hole within the second box and push a buzzer. That buzzer will activate competitor's harness and throw him back through the wall leaving him hanging on an equipment away from the building and this would be the end of that stunt.
Teja entered with a box of beetles to decide which pair will go first. Chits with number 1 and 2 were hidden along with those beetles and participants had to pick the chit to find the sequence for themselves. Geeta picked the chit and announced that Debina and she will go first.
Between Geeta and Debina, Geeta got blown and reached the elimination task.
Between Daya and Nikitin, Daya failed to push the buzzer and got the fear fanda.
Stunt #3 "Sar Zameen Par": Four contestants were left for the episode to perform a stunt- Gauhar, Salmaan, Ranveer and Rajneesh. The pair of competitors was Gauahar + Ranveer and Salmaan + Rajneesh. Who will go first in the stunt was decided by a friend of Rohit Shetty - Dholi Ram ( a huge Python). Participants were supposed to guess the length of that python and whosoever will guess close to the correct answer will go later.
This stunt was a time based stunt in which players will lie down keeping their head locked inside a box made of glass. Both the players will drag themselves on their back with the help of legs on a ramp heading towards the edge to find the screw drivers of different sizes. One of those screw drivers will unlock their head out of the box. The stunt will be finished once the box was opened. An addition to the stunt was the Scorpions inside the box of one participant and Tarantula on the other one accompanied by crickets.
Ranveer and Salmaan won in this stunt and Gauhar and Rajneesh got fear fanda for next elimination stunt.
Rohit Shetty awarded Gionee E7 Smart Phone to Ranveer at the end of this episode as he was one of the best performers in this episode.
