Khatron Ke Khiladi Season 5, Episode 5 Summary
This episode had stunts in pair, that's why it was called Jodi No. 1 special by Rohit Shetty. Karanvir Bohra and Teejay Sidhu were introduced as new participants through wild card entry for rest of the game show. Following are the details of stunts:
1. In first stunt Under Water Rescue, a car was used inside a pool of water. One participant from the pair was on the driver's seat and second one was locked inside the dickey. There was a box placed in the co-driver's seat with a key. Participant in driver's seat has to unscrew the box, take the key, swim towards car dickey, unlock the partner and then swim back towards a flag stuck on a side of the pool. Then both the partners pulled the flag to finish the stunt. This stunt was performed by Karanvir + Teejay and Salman + Geeta.
Karanvir and Teejay made a mistake at the time of finishing the stunt and Karanvir pulled the flag alone. They finished the stunt in 58 seconds and another pair did that in 61 seconds but the later pair won this stunt due to the mistake done by former pair.
2. Second stunt was Slippery Car, in which a car was hung in the air from a mountain with the help of huge cranes. Stunt partners were supposed to sit on driver's side of the car and then at the sound of hooter they had to get out of the car from their respective sides. As the participants let themselves out of the car, a sprinkler started showering water to make the stunt more difficult. There were two flags stuck on the car, one at the front and another at the back side. In front there was a cable cutter along with the flag and at the back there was a key. Partner who collected the cutter has to give it to another partner to cut the key tied with a cable, then first partner was supposed to get back to the driver's seat with key, start the ignition and buzz a horn to finish the stunt.
Three pairs performed this stunt and the order was Daya+Nikitan, Ranveer+Mugdha (3 min 4 sec) and Gurmeet+Debina (2 min 43 sec). Daya and Nikitan took more time than other pairs and were the lowest performers of this stunt.
3. Third stunt was Torture Tunnel. In this stunt one partner has to lie down on a box at the start of a tunnel with 5 tarantula spiders over the body. The second partner will get inside a tank full of ice cubes and find a key hidden within the heap of ice cubes. Then there was a panel with 3 locks and a steering wheel, the participant with key has to open the first lock steer the wheel to pull the box with first partner inside the tunnel. Inside the tunnel partner found a flag, which was to be pulled by mouth without using hands. At this stage 1000 cockroaches were poured over the first partner's body. At second lock another 1000 cockroaches were filled in the box and at third flag, 1000 crickets were released on the box inside the tunnel. Then second partner has to collect those flags and give it to Rohit Shetty to finish the stunt.
Gauahar+Kushal and Rochelle+Rajanish performed this stunt and timings were 3 min 26 sec and 2 min 24 sec respectively. Rochelle+Rajanish lost this, even after taking less time, because Rochelle used her hand slightly to hold the flag which was against the rules of this stunt.
